Episode 8: Youth Voices for Water Security and Climate Action at the 10th World Water Forum
How do young people organise themselves in order to effectively represent their interests in such a massive international forum? And how do their actions contribute to a water-secure future for all?
We discuss these questions with three water experts and activists who attended this year’s forum in Bali, Indonesia: Duhitta Hayyuardhini, president of the Bali Youth Parliament for Water and key actor of the 1MYAC initiative WE ARE WATER, Gazi Nouman, representative of the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) and Bali Youth Representative, and Marta Zaragoza Navarro, accredited negotiator of the Bali Youth Plan Working Group and Bali Youth Representative!
As initiator and coordinator of the WYPW and its General Assembly, in which the 1MYAC initiative took place, the International Secretariat for Water (ISW) plays a key role supporting these three water experts and their engagement.
