On occasion of the UN Climate Change Conference, COP 26, this episode of the Trend Observatory on Water podcast series looks at the importance of water for climate action. It highlights recent trends in the global discourse on water and climate mitigation and provides insights on the role of urban utilities as well as rural and semi urban sanitation systems. We discuss these issues with John Matthews, Executive Director and co-founder of AGWA, the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation, who shares his perspective on new topics, innovations and initiatives presented at the first dedicated water pavilion of COP 26.
